Route: The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge takes on the peaks of Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough. These peaks form part of the Pennine range, and encircle the head of the Valley of the River Ribble in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

We start our day by heading over Pen-y-Ghent (691m) following the Pennine Way towards the Ribblehead Viaduct. We then head over Whernside (728m), before dropping down into the Valley and on to our final Peak. After reaching Ingleborough summit(723m), we descend back to the start.

This is a long and demanding walk, with a total climb of 5,200 feet.
