Booked Navigate Northumberland for May 25th 2019, it was booked up quickly so if you want to take on the 6 peak challenge (or 7 with the bonus peak) then don't hesitate.

It was a well organised walk with experienced mountain leaders and John explaining the day, the challenges and the route so there was no doubt on what the challenge was and what you needed to do to complete it. Malcolm and John were excellent company and kept the group's spirits going whilst pointing out wildlife and scenery along the whole of the walk.

I would highly recommend booking and taking part in this Northumbian challenge but don't underestimate how physically demanding it is...... training and good preparation are essential (as are plenty of water and snacks on the day) to complete it and enjoy the whole experience.

My group on May 25th had different people with varied walking experience but they were all friendly and determined and made 10 hours fly by with laughter and plenty of sweets and odd nettle sting and were very good company.

I would do this challenge again or similar and will be looking out for any other walking challenges or courses that are organised by John and his team

I really want to send my appreciation for the lovely day these guys have organised. You guys were great, starting from giving us the directions to the meeting place, to organising us into smaller groups for safety and to keeping people happy and entertained throughout the day.
Also, a massive "Thank you!" to Pete and Gavin who took their time to engage with us. Pete offered me the chance to learn from him and sharpen my map reading skills. He was excellent at teaching and quizzing me about my progress. Gavin was also very knowledgeable and shared a lot his lore on local plants and history. It was all very fascinating and engaging.
It was a thoroughly enjoyable day spent with lots of great people. The landscapes were beautiful in a very scenic area.
Thank you!

Now also offering walks in the Lakes and the Peaks via our sister websites, Navigate UK and Navigate Lakes and Peaks.
